This guide helps to understand how to create and publish a post with an embedded event using the Servv platform. By following the step-by-step instructions, users can seamlessly add event details directly into a post using the Servv plugin.
How to Create a New Post¶
Follow the steps below to create and publish a new post:
Step 1: Access the Post Section¶
Click on the Post option located on the right side of your dashboard.
Step 2: Click Add Post.¶
Click on the Add Post button to start a new post.
Step 3: Eneter a Event Title¶
Provide a clean and descriptive title for your event in the Title field.
Step 4: Add a Plugin Block¶
Click the + icon to add a new content block.
Step 5: Select the SERVV Plugin¶
Choose the Servv plugin to embed the event functionality into your post.
Step 6: Fill Out Event Details¶
Complete the event form with the necessary information, such as:
- Date and Time
- Time zone
- Recurrence
One-time- for single-day eventsRecurring- for repeated events
- Type
In-person– specify venueOnline- include meeting link
- Additional notes - Optional fields for further information
Step 7: Publish the Post¶
Click the Publish button in the top right corner to make your post and event live.
